Children's Home

Near the village of Bhogpur at the foothills of the Himalayas is the Children’s Home, founded in 1945 by Christian medical missionaries originally for the healthy “street children” of parents with Hansen’s Disease (leprosy). Now with several branches in remote rural areas, the Children’s Home provides elementary through high school education through its Home Academy as well has housing for over 800 children. To encourage the development of an endowment fund for the Home Academy, a grant of $20,000 was made by the Foundation’s Next Generation Fund.
