The Student Conflict Resolution Experts (SCORE)
program provides secondary youth violence prevention
by focusing on disadvantaged, inner-city public
high school students at risk for being a perpetrator
or victim of violence. Run in four high schools
in Boston, SCORE is a mediation program whereby
you mediators help disputants understand each
other’s perspective, transcend differences,
and create win-win situations. With a second
grant from the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, the SCORE
program will be replicated at two new schools
and the program evaluation component will be
expanded. www.brooklinecenter.org
