Education
General Grants Grants in this category largely
support primary, secondary, and higher education, vocational
and special education, and libraries. Most of the schools
that receive funding are the alma maters of Hunt Foundation
family members or schools that otherwise have a direct
relationship with a trustee. Unsolicited proposals generally
are not accepted.
Note:
These categories are consistent with The Foundation
Center's Grants Classification System (a system developed
by the National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities to classify
all organizations considered as tax exempt under certain
sections of the IRS code).
